37th Annual Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival

On Saturday October 22, 2016, the 37th Annual Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival will begin. As it has been in the past, one of the responsibilities of the Martinsburg Police Department is to ensure the race and parade routes are free of vehicular traffic and parked vehicles.

This is a friendly reminder to inform Martinsburg residents and visitors that on Saturday, October 22, 2016, beginning at 8:00 A.M. and until the conclusion of the parade, our officers will be enforcing parking restrictions along the parade route. NO PARKING will be permitted along the parade route from 8:00 A.M. until the conclusion of the parade. Any vehicle left on the parade route will be towed!

Other areas, which are also restricted from parking, are:

100 blocks of East and West Martin Street
100 blocks of East and West Burke Street
100 blocks of East and West King Street
500 through 1300 blocks of West King Street

The parade route is as follows:

1300 Block West King Street eastbound to Raleigh Street
Raleigh Street northbound to Martin Street
Martin Street eastbound to Queen Street
Queen Street southbound to Martinsburg High School
The parade will disband in the vicinity of Martinsburg High School.

The Martinsburg Police Department thanks our community, in advance, for its cooperation.
